Sir Elton John Donates Piano

Pianists will surely be pleased from now on when they pop in to BBC Radio 2 thanks to the recent donation made by Sir Elton John.

Sir Elton, who dropped by BBC Radio 2 this afternoon wearing cool green shades and a matching scarf to commemorate his good deed, recently donated one of his own pianos to the studio in hopes it will inspire others.

The legendary musician said, ‘I’m delighted to donate one of my treasured pianos to Radio 2, who have supported me so much over the past 40 years’

He continued, ‘The piano is, of course, my favourite instrument to play and I hope it inspires the musicians who play it.’

What a lovely thing to do.
