Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell Announce UK X Factor Return

Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole arrived at a press conference today at which they reportedly announced their return to the UK’s “X Factor.” It’s reported that Cheryl Cole agreed to a nearly $2.5 million one-year deal to return to the hit show. Reports go on to say that Cheryl and Simon have made up since their falling out three years ago after he fired her just weeks into her role as a judge on the US version of the show in 2011. Cole, who was previously a judge on the UK show from 2008 to 2010, reportedly feels like a different person since she last served as a judge on the show. Cowell will also be returning to the judges table this year. He was also a judge on the show from 2004 to 2010.
