New Dirt On Meg Ryan/Dennis Quaid Divorce

Remember back in the day, when Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid were first getting divorced? Everyone blamed Meg, saying that it was her affair with Russel Crowe that caused the problems. She was painted by the gossip rags and a wandering harlot! Now, she finally wants to set the record straight (even if it is eight years later). Here’s what she had to say to InStyle:

“Dennis was not faithful to me for a very long time, and that was very painful. I found out more about that after I was divorced.“

She went on to talk about how it affected Russel Crowe, saying:

“I think he took a big hit. But Russell didn’t break up the marriage. He was definitely there at the end, but it wasn’t his fault. I was a mess. I hurt him too at the end. I couldn’t be in another long relationship, it wasn’t the time for that. So I got out.”

“My time as a scarlet woman was really interesting. As painful as it was, it was also incredible liberating. Now I was utterly free. I didn’t have to care about what people thought.”

I wonder what Dennis Quaid has to say about this! Also, I have a hard time remembering which actor is Randy Quaid and which is Dennis. I know one is hot, while the other is like the creepy uncle your parents won’t leave you alone with during family gatherings. FYI: Randy was the gross redneck in the National Lampoon’s movies, while Dennis made my heart skip a beat during Smart People.
