Avril and Deryck Go Out on the Town

Avril Lavigne and her husband, Deryck Whibley, went to Madeos for dinner last night and these are the pictures to prove it. I’d like to preface the rest of my post by saying that I absolutely hate how he spells his name. It’s a pet peeve of mine…why would parents do that to their kids? It’s as if a unike nayme spellying ensures that the kid will be special or something. In the words of Moon Unit Zappa, gag me with a spoon!

Anyway, I think it’s kind of funny that there are a ton of pictures of the two of them from last night, but Deryck isn’t smiling in any of them. In fact, he looks downright miserable! HA! Maybe that’s what marriage does to a man.

Avril, on the other hand, is practically glowing. She’s smiling in every shot! I don’t know what that says about their relationship (if it says anything at all), but it tickles my heart.
