Boy George is Goin’ to Jail!

Today, a judge really wanted to hurt Boy George. He really wanted to make him cry.

Okay, enough of that. I’m going to have that stupid song stuck in my head all night now. Let’s cut to the chase, shall we? Remember when Boy George got into a bunch of trouble for allegedly chaining up and beating a (male) hooker? Well, you can take that allegedly and toss it in the trash. Today, he was convicted of the crime and sentenced to 15 months in the chokey. This is what the judge had to say:

“In my view there can be no doubt that your premeditated callous and humiliating handcuffing and detention of Mr. Carlsen shocked, degraded and traumatized him. He was deprived of his liberty and human dignity without warning or proper explanation to him of its purpose, length or purported justification.

You assaulted the victim of this offense whom you had invited into your home by handcuffing him to your bed and inflicting on him additional wholly gratuitous violence beyond that needed merely to secure physical restraint and detention.”

Guess he likes it rough? I’m sure he’ll get plenty of that kind of action while wasting away in prison. It’s shocking, isn’t it? In America, people like Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie get arrested, convicted and then punished by going to jail for less than a day! With the notable exception of Paris, of course, who was in for all of a week or something. I got in more trouble for telling the neighbor kid about sex when I was in 3rd grade!

Apparently, people on the other side of the pond don’t mess around. Blaaake Civil-Fielder has been incarcerated for a long time, and now Boy George is going to be there for over a year!
