Rihanna Donates $1.75 Million To Hospital In Barbados

Pop superstar Rihanna made an appearance at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in her Caribbean homeland of Barbados where she made a $1.75 million dollar donation to the hospital in memory of her late grandmother Clara Braithwaite.

Rihanna stated that the money would buy three pieces of medical equipment and was her way of “giving back to Barbados.”

Relatives accompanied Rihanna to the ceremony Saturday morning where the hospital’s radiotherapy unit was renamed to the Clara Braithwaite Center for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine in honor of Rihanna’s grandmother who passed away in June.
