Katie Holmes threw hubby Tom Cruise a blowout family birthday bash yesterday poolside in Miami complete with a cookout and face painting.

Connor Cruise decided to make a trip to the beach and take a dip in the ocean while the rest of the family chose to relax by the hotel pool listening to Caribbean music.
