Michael Jackson is Very Sick?!

It has recently been reported that Michael Jackson is very ill. He’s said to be battling an inherited genetic disease called A1AD (Alphi-1 Anti-Trypsin Deficiency). Basically, it means that he lacks a protein that protects his lungs and other organs. Ian Halperin, his biographer, said:

“He needs a lung transplant, but may be too weak to go through with it. He also has emphysema and chronic gastrointestinal bleeding, which his doctors have had a lot of trouble stopping. It’s the bleeding that’s the most problematic part. It could kill him.”

Jackson is has also lost 95 percent of the vision in his left eye. Jermaine Jackson, his brother, said:

“He’s not doing so well right now. This isn’t a good time.”

This sounds like pretty awful news. What a terrible thing to go through, especially while being sued for $1 billion!
