Paul Walker Dies in a Fiery Crash at Age 40
It’s a very sad day today as reports surfaced that “The Fast and the Furious” series star Paul Walker died in an explosive car accident at the age of 40. According to reports, Walker died on this afternoon in a single-car accident that exploded into fire in Southern California. Initial reports indicate that the actor was in a Porsche along with an unidentified person when the driver somehow lost control of the vehicle and slammed into a post or a tree where the car bust into flames. LASD report stated that deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the traffic collision at approximately 3:30 pm in the City of Valencia where they found the vehicle engulfed in flames. The report goes on to state that L.A. County Fire Department responded, extinguished the fire and subsequently located two victims inside the vehicle who were pronounced dead at the scene. The collision is still under investigation and it’s currently unclear what caused the accident or who was driving the car when it happened. Sources close to Paul told a publication that he was in Santa Clarita for a car show in support of the Philippines typhoon relief effort and was taking pals out for rides in the new Porsche GT. It appears that the accident occurred during one of those test drives. A representative for Walker confirmed that he died as he was leaving the charity event. Paul is survived by his 15 year old daughter Meadow, whom he shared with ex-girlfriend Rebecca McBrain. Meadow reportedly moved from Hawaii to California a few years ago in order to be closer to her father.
