Christina Aguilera took hubby Jordan Bratman and son Max out for a shopping trip to the Scholastic store in New York yesterday.

The songstress, who was channeling a bit of a Marylin Monroe hairdo, has just announced her appointment as the Ambassador Against Hunger for the United Nations.

So, not only is she pretty, an amazing singer and a great mother, now she’s showing the world she’s got a huge heart too. Jordan’s one lucky fella!
