Pics From the NYC Race for the Cure

Breast cancer touches people from all different races and backgrounds, so it wasn’t surprising to see a huge assortment of famous people at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure through Central Park over the weekend. This is the only type of event that I could imagine bringing together people like Uma Thurman, Joe Lieberman, Cyndi Lauper (!!!), Judge Judy, Gabrielle Union and Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

The annual event raises funds to support local programs offering breast health education, screening and treatment in the five boroughs of New York City, on Long Island and in Westchester and Rockland Counties. Congrats to all who participated! To donate to the Susan G. Komen foundation, click here.
