Lovebirds Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Walk The Red Carpet At The American Music Awards

Justin Bieber and his paramour Selena Gomez posed together while walking down the red carpet of the 2011 American Music Awards in Los Angeles.

The twosome appeared to be summoning “The Great Gatsby” characters Jay Gatsby and Daisy Buchannan wearing distinctly 1920s looks, which complimented one another, proving that true love really does conquer all.

Taylor Swift, also at the awards ceremony, was the evening’s big winner, taking home every award she was nominated with starting with Favorite Country Female Artist and ending with Artist Of The Year.

Additionally, Katy Perry was surprised on stage when she was bestowed with a special award highlighting her achievement of getting five number one single off the same album, Teenage Dream.  She’s the first female artist to achieve this feat, the late Michael Jackson set the precedent.
