Rod Stewart Kicks Off Caesars Palace Residency
Over the last five decades, Rod Stewart has sold more than 250 million albums and singles — and he’s showing no signs of slowing down. Stewart kicked off his two-year residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, and his first show of Rod Stewart: The Hits was a hit in and of itself. World-renown synchronized swimmers were even there, performing a dazzling “Hot Legs” routine.
The set list featured the rock and R&B tunes that have come to define Stewart’s career, including songs like Maggie May, Hot Legs, Some Guys Have All the Luck — but there are also a few surprise rarities and covers thrown in for good measure, too. Rod rocked the house during the concert, proving yet again that he’s not just an icon, he’s a professional (and amazingly talented) artist.
